Greetings! My name is Diane, and I'm a twenty-two year old blogger, originally from the good ol' 303 -- that's Colorado for those who don't know area codes.

I’ve officially been a Mullis since August 18th, 2018. We are so close to coming up on our one-year wedding anniversary. That’s so crazy!!

Someone else you might see on my blog from time to time is my adorable Australian Shepherd mixed pup, Zoey. Her adoption date is 6/19/16 and we never could have imagined the immense impact Zoey would make on our lives. Most of you don't know, but growing up as a child, I was always afraid of dogs. I never learned that when dogs chase after you, they want to play with you. So I grew up afraid of a 1-foot tall Dachshund named "Cookie" (yes, I was afraid of a dog named Cookie. Quite traumatizing I know). A couple years later my friend from Colorguard introduced me to her adorable golden retrievers, and I have loved dogs ever since. Now I am at the dog park as often as I can be, and I will always be the one to volunteer to walk or watch after your dog. Officially an obsessed dog mom, and I am okay with it.

Some of my passions include free writing, dancing, taking adventures with Garrett & Zoey, and documenting every moment that sticks out to me. More often times than not, I end up taking a photo or two (thousand) to capture the tiny happiness I got to experience in that moment. Call it a quirk, but I like looking at those photos years down on the road on Timehop.

I graduated in May 2018 with a Bachelors of Science Degree, majoring in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication. I am the first-generation in my family to achieve both an Associates and a Bachelors degree. It has been a real struggle moving around from community college to university. But let me tell you that it was all worth it.

I landed a job the Monday after I graduated, at a privately-owned company who sells cameras & software to paper mills. It might not seem exciting, but I do get a chance to stretch out my creative muscles, while also market our products and services to customers all over the country.

I could not be more proud of the person I am today.

I don't how I am going to make an impact on this ginormous planet, but maybe this personal blog can pave the way for me. Please feel free to ask me anything that you want to know about me!
