Affordable Everyday Makeup Products

I'm not usually one to spend more than $10 on makeup items; it just doesn't seem worth it to me! Drugstore brands have really stepped up their game in the last few years, quality wise, and I am here for it. With my everyday makeup routine finally consistent, I figured it was finally time to share my affordable everyday makeup picks.

Most of these products can be found at Ulta or Walmart. Keep reading for product links!

Foundation

After watching multiple beauty Youtubers rave about this foundation, such as Kathleen Lights and Casey Holmes, I had to try it out for myself. Ever since my first use, this product has not let me down. For starters, this bottle has a pump, which is super handy for those who usually pour out too much foundation. Also, having this product in a glass bottle makes it feel more high-end in my opinion.

Now let's get down to the nitty gritty of this product. In my opinion, this foundation applies best with a beauty sponge. And even though it is a pro matte foundation, I still set it with a pressed powder (mentioned below) to ensure all-day wear. The shade range is limited to 14 skin tones, but with all of the foundation color correctors out there, you can't go wrong with getting this foundation as your base for makeup. You can find this product at Ulta and Walmart.

Concealer

If you have been looking for a more affordable dupe of Tarte's Shape Tape Concealer, look no further. This full coverage concealer does not mess around when it comes to covering up those dark circles, believe me! There are days where I wear only mascara and this concealer, and it lasts all frickin' day.

Don't believe the hype? Go out to Ulta and try it out for yourself.

Face Powder

This pressed powder by L.A. Girl has become one of my all-time favorites. The finish is amazing, the design is extremely travel friendly, and the price is hard to beat. I love how L.A. Girl released this powder with their Pro Matte Foundation, making it an affordable beauty duo for makeup lovers alike. Did I mention that there are 14 shades? Find this pressed powder now at Ulta and Walmart.

Finishing Spray

I've tried a lot of drugstore setting sprays in the past few years, and they all seem to upset me for the same reasons - how the spray comes out! The "spritz" factor is one of the main characteristics in a good setting spray. Thankfully, this spray does the trick! For a matte finish and a gentle spritz, Ulta did great with this setting spray. You can find this product right here.

Facial Spray

Whenever I need a pick-me-up in the mornings, or when I just want to feel refreshed, I reach for this spray. Mario Badescu pulled out all the stops with this facial spray. With notes of aloe, cucumber and green tea, this spray is anti-anxiety in a bottle.

I've also noticed that this product has helped with the amount of acne on my face. Usually, I will spray about 5 pumps onto my face, and press the product into my skin to get the most out of it. The end product is a glowing face that feels refreshed and moisturized. You can find this spray at Ulta and Amazon.

Mascara

False lashes have always intimidated me. That's why I reach for mascaras that have a lengthening + volumizing effect. And what better than a false lash effect mascara that can be bought at the drugstore? Essence did an amazing job with their formula of this Lash Princess Mascara. I love how my lashes look after applying this product, and I get a lot of compliments whenever this mascara is on my eyes. You can buy this mascara at Ulta.

Brushes

I got to be real with y'all for a minute. No matter how cheap or expensive your makeup is, the end result is determined by the application tools you use. It's best to set yourself up with a essentials brush set from the get go, and I highly recommend that you shop with Real Techniques. Their brushes have no fallout (meaning that their bristles stay in the handle and stay off of your face), and they are amazing to use on both your eyes and face. Find this brush set today at Walmart, Ulta and Amazon.

Eyeshadow

There are so many possibilities when it comes to this eyeshadow palette from Makeup Revolution. It blows my mind that you can find such pigmented matte and shimmer shades in one single palette. From a neutral eye to a smoky eye, this palette can do it all. To get this Iconic 2 Redemption palette, buy it from Ulta or Amazon.

Brows

No makeup look is complete without a completed eyebrow. And that is why I always reach for this easy-to-use eyebrow pencil from E.l.f. It's very easy to tell what shade the product is because of the colored ring on that side of the pencil. Opposite of the eyebrow pencil is the eyebrow brush, which just makes my heart flutter because I get two products in one for only $2. To get this eyebrow pencil, look at Ulta, Walmart, or elfcosmetics.com.
